No, in future versions there will be changes that will make most save games incompatible.
of-course there still some "small updates" to the game engine sometimes, where savegames will be compatible.

In every game version available for download u will see the text "savegames before version xx.xx are not compatible"

Hi Rawfulz,

after downloading the .zip file which contains the updated files, do the following:
Right click on the downloaded patch, which in this case, is 2.6.14 patch, and select "Extract files...".

Actually, please follow the below instructions instead, if you haven't installed the post-release beta version successfully before:

You will have to download the game installer at:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1471

After installing the game, you may check if there are any new patches available on the “Capitalism Lab – Post-Release Beta Version” forum. If so, you may download the latest patch and apply it.

I was following those instructions :oops: .
2) Double-click on the ZIP file to open it and extract all the files in the ZIP to the Capitalism Lab program folder.
Do you have to move the ZIP file over to the Cap Lab game folder?
Or just right click on the file, and hit extract?

You may follow the instructions on the FAQ to install the patch.
