Do you want the bank to be changed to a subsidiary model?
Note that this will make it a requirement to buy the Subsidiary DLC in order to use the Banking and Finance DLC. Right now, all the DLCs of Capitalism Lab can be used independently with no requirements of other DLCs.
This is the original user post that suggests making the change.
If you change the bank to a subsidiary model, instead of the current capital in and out tab with the reversible arrow, it might be better to have the standard capital management functions where you can inject capital/do a share issue to raise money, and then allow the bank to pay dividends (ordinary and special) to return capital. Makes it more realistic and less clunky. You could restrict the payment of dividends in the manner you currently do for level of funds you are able to transfer out of the bank (i.e. needing to comply with capital ratios).

Re: Poll: Change the bank to a subsidiary model
The problem with not having it as a subsidiary with the current set-up is that equity gets stuck in the bank. If a bank's deposits decline (or not), it seems to fund new loans with retained earnings. Cash cannot be extracted from the bank because you cannot sell loans or proactively borrow against existing assets. This creates a situation where the ROE is dropping persistently. Of course, one can borrow against this equity at the HoldCo level, but that is highly inefficient and tedious. The banks should be able to finance themselves at the bank asset level with debt funding, retained earnings, parent equity, or even public equity (which would be possible if they were subs).

Personnaly , i don't find this to be a problème .
I have had some games where i would have my Bank be a subsidiary and others where it would be my parent compagnies main focus. So i Think players should continue to have the Choice to play how They want . For the People that have been having problems , i would recommended that you create your own subsidiary, It works pretty well and you won't stop others from making the Choice on how They want to play there game .
For those who are scared that they Will have a problème with trying to acquire other banks and that the merging gets complicated there is a poll right now trying to make it easier. https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewt ... =14&t=7060 .
So every body Will be free to do what They want. This is a sandbox game, so the more restriction you put , the less gameplay there is.

I voted "no" because I think people should not pay two DLC in order to access the part of the they game.
On the other hand, we are almost in 2020, this DLC is the first one that went out, in 2016, that's four years now. It may as well be part of the base game now. Of course, I can't decide for Enlight on this topic.
