So i have a Subsidiary from stock take over.
I hired new ceo for company, and have gave them like 100m total roughly but they are not doing anything? Or does it just take time? It's been few year at-least.

What's the setting you set for its CEO? (there are 3 pages) And what's its personality? (and expertise?) If the subsidiary company does not have sufficient cash, and the CEO will not build anything.
Also, whether the CEO is conservative or aggressive will affect how much cash the company needs to have for the CEO to take actions building new firms.

And if you want to force a CEO to produce certain product class, set the scope of production (and notice, red is disable). Or set related product classes (like leathers with apparel, etc).
BTW, automobile is one tough product class, usually AI "avoid" it (AIs are quite stupid with setting up vertical chain sometimes), or can not scale up its production to fill the market need, and end up losing a lot of money. I only see AI step into automobile final stage assemble factory when there are enough AI competitions in the game to provide automobile semi-products "by accidents". Since robber is a rare crop if there's no harbor import; Steel and Engines are common only when electronics related AIs are successful and plenty (steel shortage is very common); Plastic and glass are not always existed together; The freight cost of automobile semi-product is expense; Automobiles require a lot of advertisement due to high brand rating before they can be profitable. A lot of cash to burn before any successful automobile company can survive on its own (AI automobile corporation usually failed quite miserably. it's also not that easy for human players without enough capital to start)
