Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta V6.9.02 full version installer now available

Latest update: please note that the post-release beta version has been rolled out for release. Please download the latest Release version 6.9.04 from https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewt ... f=7&t=8350

If you want to continue to use your save games from post-release beta version in the Release version, you could copy the save game files from C:\Users\<your Windows username>\AppData\Local\Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta to C:\Users\<your Windows username>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab

A New Headquarters Building
You can now build a shiny new headquarters building for your business empire.

2 new scenarios for Digital Age DLC: “On a Buying Spree” and “Digital Supremacy”

New Feature - Shortcut for Acquiring Tech
A new button has been added to the Manufacturer Guide for acquiring technology from another company.

In the previous version, when there are many companies in the game and you are in advanced stages of the game and want to buy different technologies, and a lot of technologies, it sometimes takes a long time to do so and it also takes time to look for the right technology.

The new button allows you to quickly navigate to the technology page, making the process a breeze.

Note that the button is only available when you have a CEO office or CTO office in your headquarters.

New Person Portraits
2 new person portraits have been added to the game, increasing the maximum number of persons in a game by two.

New banners for TV Stations, Radio Stations and Newspaper Publishers.

Slightly improved the Factory Analysis mode button.

On the Product Details report, when the mouse hovers over a seller on the list, it will display a popup showing the retail store type or the firm description (if you have entered one) of the seller.

Gameplay Balance Improvements
Drugs have been taken out of convenience stores’ product list to strengthen the positioning of drug stores.

The freight index of strawberries has been changed to 50.

On the Build Firm menu, the following types of firms no longer have the display “Specialty Store – Demand Bonus” when you hover the mouse over them: 1) Supermarket 2) Convenience Store. In other words, they are not specialty stores.

The operating capacity of Computer Stores and Sport Stores has been increased.

New experimental script variables for customizing game logic

[CES DLC]
Disable Generating Apartments=Yes
//Set this to disable generation of apartments when initializing a new town.

Disable Generating Commercial Buildings=Yes
//Set this to disable generation of commercial buildings when initializing a new town.

People Per House=2
//The average number of people living in a 1x1 low-rise residential houses. It is for calculating the town population.

Please note that these script variables are experimental in nature and are not officially supported. In the words, if it turns out that they do not work out well after the experiment, they may be removed from the game or be changed substantially.

Improvements
The game now displays “Operation:0%” on top of a civic building if its operation level is 0%, regardless of whether the building is being selected or not.

The COO management policy “Sell factory internal sale products at cost” now works better under all situations.

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue that prevented the following from functioning properly for all buildings: display nearby buildings in transparency when the player highlights a building.

Fixed an issue where the English help text is displayed briefly before the translated text is displayed.

千呼万唤始出来,犹抱琵琶半遮面。6.9终于出来了,光看更新日志已经有十足的新鲜感和期待感了。
天长地久有时尽,更新绵绵无绝期。感谢制作组长久以往的不懈努力,给玩家带来更好体验。

When i go to set up a new subsidiary i choose my icon and colour in the popup window.

When i click OK the window gets stuck as in the picture below while the OK button continually flickers.

Moving the cursor to the edge of the screen makes the window close.

Thank you sooo much David. The new Quality of Life improvements are amazing :mrgreen: that will make the game a lot smoother in play where information and accessibility of features is much more intuitive.
