What exactly is the range of 4x4 sport facilities

In City Economic Simulation DLC, facilities need to have good coverage for apartments to have good rating, and the most difficult ones to achieve full coverage are those 4x4 sport facilities - soccer fields, golf courses, and stadiums. First problem is their 4x4 size, they don't fit well in most city blocks, especially those 5 tiles wide blocks, even just one 2x2 building can block the entire block from building a 4x4 sport facility.

The second one is the obvious problem, they seems to have a very short effective range. I think this is not just a CES DLC issue, but also in the core game, where you want to give your own apartments high community rating as well. So what exactly is the range of these sport facilities? I estimate about 2 to 3 blocks, roughly 10 to 12 tiles away? Has anyone measured it before?
