Video Game Mode Problem

I downloaded the mode from the link document above and applied it to the game and tested it.



If it is normal, the list of games by genre should be displayed along with the items of the game console OS.
By the way, as shown in the picture My game does not have any other genre games except game console OS.

It does not seem to be a mode problem anyway.
My game program itself seems to have a problem.
The game version is of course 5.4.01.

What do you think?

I just tested it and it worked fine in my testing. Please try doing the step highlighted in blue below.

1) Download Video Game Mod Kit
Click here to download Video Game Mod Kit.
Then unpack the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab folder and you will find the following new folders and files:

1) The new folder “MOD_kit – VideoGame” containing video game mod kit files.

2) The MOD file VideoGame.RES and its associated text file VideoGame.txt in your “MOD” folder.

3) A new subfolder “\MOD\Video Game” containing sample video game console images and sample game product images.

If you want to test the sample data included in this mod kit, you may simply copy the entire MOD folder (#2 and #3 in the above list) to your Capitalism Lab game’s MOD folder.

I have tested 5.4.01 on another computer with Windows 7 and applied the mode.
When you start the game, you have the same problem, and the game ends with the following error message.

Error on File : Item2.cpp
Line : 478

On my computer with Windows 10 installed, it will not be forcibly terminated, but the function will not work, and on other computers with Windows 7, the game will be terminated with an error message

The file is loaded, but there is still a problem that no facilities are visible and my company can not produce games..
However, The AI company developed and marketed the game, but it is not sold at all in the market.

I think my game does not recognize the mode function properly.
I have a total of five computers and have tried new installing and testing a game on every computer, but unfortunately the game will not work on all computers or the function will not work.

Is there any possibility that there is a problem with the installation file itself that can be to my account and downloaded?

I have combined the video game sample mod files and the patch v5.4.01 into a single file for your download:

Then extract the ZIP file to your post-release Beta version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

Let me know if you are able to run the game successfully with this.

if you turn on the subsidiary company DLC, the game will be terminated with an error message like the picture. If the subsidiary company DLC is turned off, the game will proceed normally, but the mode function will not work at all.
It's the same on other computers.

I just did a test and ran the video game same mod with both Subsidiary DLC and Digital Age DLC enabled and I didn't get the error message you reported. Could you please send me your save game file prior to the crash and I will look into it.

Actually, I am South Korean... So my English was a awkward Thank you for your understanding in this regard.

All of the computers I have tested so far have had a Korean OS.

Is there any possibility that a game program has compatibility problems with foreign language windowsOS?
sometimes I have seen English or Japanese programs that cause compatibility issues with Korean Windows.

I will install the English windowsOS and test it.

It should fix this problem.
