Re: Problem with the translate.txt
This is the message you see when you put a backup made in the "beta" into the "release" folder.

Problem with the shortcut key
With the shortcut "A" which is capitalized in English
There is a problem with the shortcut key in French
and Portuguese
The red A is in the middle when it is in lower case

I've forwarded this to the programmer and it will be fixed in the next major update v6.9.00.paulwoman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 4:07 pm With the shortcut "A" which is capitalized in English

When you click on the pencil,
for the "sort" button in English, if you put a word with the "s", it stays in upper case.

Re: Problem with the translate.txt
I believe that this is the same problem you told me earlier. As I have mentioned to you in a previous post, the dev team has already taken care of it and the fix will be available in the upcoming version 6.9.00.

Re: Problem with the translate.txt
Yes, I think it is indeed the same kind of problem. However, it has already happened in a previous version.
Thanks.

Re: Problem with the translate.txt
Hello. We just see a problem with the French and Portuguese inside the release and the beta.
Like you see, in French, without trans_.txt, there is a few words in English ( like "Your" and "Mayor") but there is "de Seoul" and "de Busan". There is the same probleme in Portuguese.
At present, this forces us to make a "different version" for each language according to what is written... which can take a long time to translate; the proof is that we only realised this yesterday
A propos, do you have a list of all the cities of the games ? It could be great to have the opportunity to translate all of this if there is another word, like "Pekin" in French for "Beijing" in English.
Please note that there is a link with my idea of "cities mods" viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8290
Thanks again.

Re: Problem with the translate.txt
Have you tried adding translations of those phrases like "Mayor Approval Rating" into the translate.txt ?
For example:
"Mayor Approval Rating de Busan"
by translating "Mayor Approval Rating" into "Approbation du maire" (done via Google Translate), will the text become the following in the game?
"Approbation du maire Rating de Busan"

Re: Problem with the translate.txt
I just made the addition as you suggested and it translates as I want; it will be easier than looking for all the possible combinations ^^. ThanksDavid wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 3:49 pm Have you tried adding translations of those phrases like "Mayor Approval Rating" into the translate.txt ?

I suggest for translate from or into French to use "deepl"
https://www.deepl.com/translator#en/fr ... l%20Rating
You have a better translate that google.
