Global Stock Market has Fractional Shares

In the Banking and Finance DLC some of the global stocks will have a fractional share owned by the public. This only appears if you buy up 100% of all of the stock. You cannot buy the fractional share but the buy button is not greyed out and it makes a sound each time you click buy (but has no effect).


If you sell a bit of it the shares displayed is a whole number again.


Not all of the stocks have this problem.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from the C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE

You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or emailing the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.

I just created a new game from the very latest version (9.1.25), there are no mods, it is the base game. Take a look at the global stock Pfizer which has 100% of its stock bought up by my insurance company but has a 0.11 share still left. If you buy up all of the stocks using the insurance company for others such as Apple you will also notice that they have fractional shares as well.

The bug has been fixed. Please download the new patch v9.1.26.
