The bug was caused by a bug with the pre-defined script.
The Beta version that you played has successfully become the Release version, which you may download from
http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... f=7&t=2329
The latest Release version contains a fix to the bug. But due to the versions, you will have to start a new game as old game files are incompatible. And you can load pre-defined scripts without worrying of this bug happening again.
