1) There is some sort of bug, haven't figured out how it comes into effect as of yet, however not all companies which are public and 100% owned can be privatized again.
2) There is another unrelated bug in which when you a company buys stock from the global stock market, and it merges with another one, those stocks are lost, but it's not like they were sold and you can find the cash, it's like they were never there.
3) there is another bug in which if I deposited cash in a bank and the bank becomes bankrupt, on the balance sheets it keeps saying I have cash deposited, which I obviously cannot withdraw.
