Created a new game yesterday I got the same bug, I have telecom in all towns, its year 2001, i sell teleservice, still internetcompanies doesnt work 0 reach. Is it a bugg?

Usually the AI will start a telecoms company.

On occasion the person who should do this gets put in a city major job instead, in which case they don't found the telecoms company (unless they lose there job as mayor) so if this happens you need to build a telecom building to get things working.

(I kind of like this bug as its the only way to disable the AI telecom company - which isn't buyable and tends to have absolutely billions in the bank when it goes IPO and always ends up 80% owned by the director as a result)

Maybe im stupid, but it stafted to work after i built Telecom. Is that alwats The case that u need Telecom building?
