Capitalism Lab does not officially support Windows 8 yet.

Please try running the game in Windowed mode and see if it will make any difference.

p.s. If any of you have had successes running CapLab in Windows 8 with a specific set of compatibility settings, it'd be helpful if you could post here and let us know your method.

After minimize and back to the game, some menus don't appear anymore on Windows 8. I have tried the win 7 compatibility mode.
