Oh even better! Although this ignores the newer trend of 'dropshipping' products straight from manufacturer/distributer to the customer, a lot of ecommerce involves buying products and storing them in warehouses. Full blown dropshipping might be boring and too easy in-game anyway.

you don't have to private label them. you can just buy them in warehouses and sell via ecommerce. this way you will be able to use product's original brand and you will be able to sell four different products per warehouse, just like in the shop.

Can't you just buy other company's products in warehouses, private label them, and then sell online?

This will be a great new feature.
Maybe to be released as a free update when the "digital age content pack" releases.
