Just a suggestion for modders to include an old school house phone as a product available in 1900.
For more detail put in touch tone for later game, not sure when those came out, then maybe cordless.
Each one would overtake the other eventually ending with the mobile/smart phone.
But even to this day house phones are still owned by about 40% of households, in the US anyway.
