Sorry for posting this in the wrong forum but the subsidiary DLC forum is a ghost town so I thought I'd try here, I just purchased the subsidiary dlc today and I'm not quite getting how to take advantage of it. To play with it a little I started a new game, opened up a few retail stores to get off to a fast start and immediately buy 75% of a cheap company's stock to make them my subsidiary. The dlc is definitely on because the company gets listed as my subsidiary, and if I go to their firms it says I can interfere at my ownership %, but I can't figure out how to exert control over my subsidiary.
For example from the first screenshot here http://www.capitalismlab.com/subsidiary-control.html I should be able to build my subsidiary a HQ, which I don't have the option to do from what I can see. The third screenshot shows being able to go into the "persons" screen and changing management policies by clicking on the CEO of my subsidiary and going into the career tab, which I don't have a button for.
Figured I'd leave a line here and see if anyone can help me out, I'm going to go back and play a regular game normally and see if maybe its because I bought them in the second year of the game or something. Could it be because I bought the stock with company money and not with my CEO's money?

Please check if the Subsidiary DLC is set to "On" on the DLC menu. For details, please see: http://www.capitalismlab.com/dlc-menu.html

Re: Can't Control Subsidiaries?
I just figured it out, I don't know if this is intended or not but I'm guessing my subsidiary dlc isnt compatible with the scenarios. I started a custom game with 100m and bought out another company's stock immediately and their CEO was in the "my staff" screen and I had all the options I was looking for, but when I opened up another scenario that option wasn't there. So mystery solved!
