Game crash

Hello there,

I am playing my first game mucking around with the internet companies. So i assume something to do with that side of the game.
Have never crashed before while playing.

Was version 5.04.08, game just crashes no error.
I have just upgraded to 5.04.10 and now i receive an error i will try to post a screenshot and also the save file for you.

Something to note is the game always crashes on the exact same game day. 14/04/1996

**edit - Forgot to mention i have city and digital dlc, no mods.

Hello, just updating it happened again with a new game tonight.
Same crash error.

Please download the latest patch v5.4.11 from viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4887 and start a new game using the new version. It should now run properly with no crash.

Hello Again,
Played through 10 years in another save and didn't get the same crash again. So that seems fixed.
However, after about 14years i had another random crash error. Said something about file dump.
Its an outstanding game. The bugs greatly annoy me, and since you can't make it auto save more often, i find myself rage quitting due to having to redo 30mins of micro management.

Once I've calmed down i'll play through again to screenie the error.

You may use a script to make auto save more often:

Auto Save Frequency Modifiers
You may use the following script functions to override the default auto save interval which is 1 year.Auto Save Interval Days=<number>
This sets the auto save interval in game days.
Example:
Auto Save Interval Days=20
This will make the game write a new auto save file every 20 game days.

Auto Save Interval Minutes=<number>
This sets the auto save interval in real time minutes.(Please note that even with these functions, auto save will only be performed when the Auto Save option in the game is enabled.)

Played a 3 hour game with no crashes. Seems good.
