Capitalism Lab Release version 6.5.21 Patch

Capitalism Lab Release version 6.5.21 patch is now available for download at:
https://caplab.b-cdn.net/CR65216500.zip

IMPORTANT: This patch must be applied on top of version 6.5.11 or later. If you haven't installed it, please download the full viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7777

Then extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

Version 6.5.21

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug in tutorial 4 where clicking to link two units was unresponsive when using a translated tutorial text file.
Fixed a bug with the Mass Transfer Firms function.

Version 6.5.20

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with the market share pie chart in the product summary report when all cities are selected.
Fixed a bug with the script file specifying AI company types when survival mode is enabled.
Fixed a rare bug with the error message item_array[]

Version 6.5.19

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that may occur when viewing the Marketing screen of a Bank Branch.
Fixed an error that occurs when the translated text is too long on the Build Firm menu. Now the text will be truncated instead.

Version 6.5.18

Bug Fixes
Fixed a rare crash bug with R&D.
Fixed an issue that limits the capacity of firms other than factories when using a mod.

AI Improvement
When needing to raising funds, AI will first attempt to issue new shares if it is already heavily in debt or it has got a poor credit rating. Note that each AI person has a different tolerance level of debt, which is one of the traits affected by their Character attribute (ranging from Conservative to Very Aggressive, as indicated on the Personality page of the Person report.)


Version 6.5.17

Ad-hoc Bug Fixes
Fixed a crash bug that occurs when selecting IPO on the Financial Action screen.
Fixed a bug that does not allow you to build buildings in your own city.


Version 6.5.16

Bug Fixes
Fixed a display bug of the training cost of R&D centers when the Digital Age DLC is not enabled.
Fixed a bug about the display order of the scenarios.
Fixed a bug with intensive training program in HR department
Fixed a bug with new product invention cancellation.
Fixed a bug with the stock price of a company that is heavily in debt with bonds.

AI Improvement
The city government AI will more actively set up new public buildings.

Gameplay balance improvements
Slightly reduced the profitability of TV stations for better gameplay balance.

In response to a user suggestion, the operating expenses of public buildings under CES DLC have been increased, which will lead to an increased likelihood of city governments issuing bonds.


Version 6.5.15

Fixed a bug with the calculation of telecom market share on the Market Dominance screen.
Fixed a bug in e-commerce.
Fixed a bug in loading the video game mod.
Fixed a bug in merging a private company.
Fixed a bug that led to negative brand rating in a newly founded city.
Fixed a bug that occurred during a reverse stock split while the stock is being held by an insurance company.

Version 6.5.14

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug in the Most Influence Report chart.
Fixed a display issue with the Difficulty Rating on the Scenario selection screen.
The Hall of Fame now displays the personal wealth of the player (the same figure as seen on the Person screen’s Wealth page).
Various other bugs.

-Fixed the town.cpp 1339 error.

Version 6.5.12

Bug Fixes
-Fixed a crash bug that occurred when using a script containing incorrect industry names or comments under the [MAIN GOAL INDUSTRIES] section.
-Fixed a bug with the Realistic Loan Demand setting when the City Economic Simulation DLC is not enabled.

is it intended that capital injections don't affect IPO price ?

As I understand it the IPO price would be calculated on the value of the company.

If i set up a subsidiary with 20 million initial capital, immediately inject 980m, then go IPO the share value does not take account the capital injection, allowing me to buy the shares at a fraction of the value they will increase too. the 20% public shares have a value of 3m

If i set up a subsidiary with 1 billion then go IPO this does not happen. - the 20% default public shares have a value of 150m

This will be fixed in the next version. In the meantime, if you do this sequence of actions without pausing the game, the issue will not occur.

The e-commerce function stop at my software product.. is this bug??

When a company is going bankrupt, ask other companies if they are willing to inject money to buy it. Because some bankrupt companies have some value.

For example: companies with high technology, companies with multiple stores, etc. if these companies are bankrupt due to improper operation, it will be a loss to the market. These high-tech stores will disappear in the game. If someone invests in the company at this time, its technology store will remain in the market.

This is called bankruptcy acquisition bankruptcy reorganization in real life.


I hope the developers will consider implementing this proposal. Thank you!

I have received your save game file. But when I attempted to load it, I got a loading error.

What did you mean by "The e-commerce function stop at my software product" ?

From the screenshot you posted, your software products seem to be selling well via e-commerce.

I have resend my saved file, let me know you if you still cant open it
If you look from below, ecom only sell all my software product.. other non software product is not selling at all ( zero sales )

have you made sure they have enough product to actually sell, and its not all just being sold locally ?
