Remove the restriction on drawing a salary

Post by cantdownloadit »

My main company is usually a holding company with zero trading income, there the max salary the company can pay is only 100k per year, even if it receives 10 billion a year in dividends.

Therefore given my company is 100% owned by me, I should be able to pay myself whatever salary I want.

(The only time it should auto reduce is if the game calculates the company does not have enough money to pay the salary).

If Cap Lab had personal taxation for the player, then how you reward yourself financially
would have tax implications.

Salary would be taxed at up to 50% maybe more.

Dividends are sometimes taxed at a much lower rate. 15% the US

If different cities had different rates of corporation tax, personal tax and capital gains tax
where you base your headquarters would be an important decision .

but i could pay a bigger salary if i chose to if my company was making a big profit, but not if my subidiary is.

that does not make sense.

(and different cities can have different taxation limits as set by the mayor)

(in much the same way as owning a subsidiary with 100% market dominance in operating systems doesnt count as completing the goal).
