A training question
Long time capitalism II player but new to forums....been playing/tinkering with the new lab version 1.991 and i think i found a problem or question. When i set the training slider all the way up on a new retail store it takes approx. 12-18 months for all purchasing and sales units to level 2. Seems like forever to me so i've tried the human resource department in the headquaters for an instant upgrade. After a few saves and reloads I've targeted $13,300 per employee to trigger level 2's for all purchasing and sales units. Here is the question.....in the resource tab in headquarters the text warns that training using intensive training is 30% less effective than normal, but if i look at the income statments of the firms of the saved 12-18 slider game and compare them to the intensive training method I find that the Human resource is cheaper.....way cheaper. Like 5:1 savings using headquarters compared to training sliders. Wish I was computer savy enough to send a saved screen shot but an example...in my current game i've built a supermarket added 8 purchasing linked to sales units, set the training slider to max and saved. Then i set the time to max sat back and watched until units reached level 2. Looked at the income statment for that firm and the numbers stated that i've spent $6 mill and change to training and new equipment. So i go back reload saved game open headquarters organize an intensive training program for $13,300 per employee, the total rings out to $1.4 mill I click okay and instantly all units are at level 2. WHAT GIVES? Am i missing something? Any help or explaination is greatly appreicated.
