2.4.05E Insufficient Memory Error

Post by mohmaaytah »

Fairly hefty script I have been trying out, 30 competitors, 10 cities of 5 million each, everything else is normal.

I have had a recurring error with the message "Insufficient Memory, execution interrupt." around an hour into the game. When I try to reload the save it gives me the same error message. If anybody can tell me where to find the save file I will upload it and the script if it helps.

Currently on 2.4.05E but also faced this with B and D. Any ideas?

I faced the same problem not long time ago.

Try to re-install the game.

Reinstalled, no problems while playing, crash on save then I can't load the file due to the same error message.

I'm going to try autosave and see if that crashes or works. I'll report back.

Could you please send me your script file? You may send it as an attachment with your forum post.

Here is the link (can't attach a .txt file it seems) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/890 ... 20Game.txt

I run the game on the highest speed, try saving around an hour later and see if you can replicate the crash.

Thanks David.

I just edited the script to include an autosave every 10 minutes, crashed at 40 minutes in.
