Just to add to how this would be useful at least to me, frequently in order to satisfy demand and utilize the factory more, I may setup multiple retail store to supply to the market, adjusting the price of the product becomes problematic if you have multiple store selling the same product

Using the batch edit functionality does not resolve this issue for a few reasons
-The functionality requires searching for the product
-The list is large (4 products vs every product in the list)
-The list also does not remember your previous selection, always goes to the top which I find unintuitive

By being able to expand the retail store, this will alleviate this problem by letting me manage the single retail store instead

I would like to see a difference in product slots for a mega-store vs a specialty store

Ya, double post my bad. I think that megastores and department stores should be able to carry more products than a leather store or specialty electronics store. Megastores are (at least in america) places like wal-mart, best buy, or in the case of this game shopping malls. (These would be simulated in game by department stores because frankly they don't exist in their previously glorious forms.) Anyways, I'm not against the multi floor model, but I would encourage you to take another look at my model, as I believe It may help to address and alleviate problems, and congestion that could arise in future releases.

My model essentially keeps everything the same except for mega-stores, which could incorporate a second floor, as per the Idea mentioned earlier. After the fact, stores could be upgraded. I think this would be a good idea if we are considering an upgrade model to other firms, )farms and factories)

This could also be an optional feature akin to the multi-retail store game option.

I would agree that perhaps the Megastores should be able to sell even more products, but I think all types of retailers should have at least 2 floors with perhaps the megastores starting with 3. Again something that could easily be added to be modified.

But what if we start looking into factory and farm upgrades? Surely a second floor would not be an option then.
