Suggestion: Warehouse only filter

You may play version 1.971 Challenge Game 08B and see if there is still a need for frequently using warehouses. If so, you may send me your saved game.

Sorry, I havent been able to play the most recent challenge game. Work has been really building up, and will continue to be heavy for the next approx 2 weeks, so I might not be able to fit a game in unfortunately.

However, I still extensively use warehouses even when they may not be necessary as I use them for product distribution. If I ever find that I need to increase my capacity, if all my retail are linked to a factory, I cannot do this. However if they are all linked to a warehouse, I can easily add an extra factory and hook it up to the warehouse and I have increased my production.

If I dont do this, the micromanagement to change where all my firms are sourcing their products from later is always horrendous!

An additional suggestion is an option where I can say:
"All purchasing modules in all of my retail/factories/warehouses/all (selectable) that are buying from source X must change to buying from source Y"

This would GREATLY alleviate micromanagement

In Challenge 8B I had Warehouses in Warsaw that were fed livestock products from 2-3 medium farms to distribute them to retail outlets and/or factories.

I noticed in kie99's game he also had some warehouses in Warsaw where all his production took place.


Challenge 8B was the first time ever I used warehouses, and They work great, but the selection is indeed quite cumbersome when factories/farms and warehouses are all mixed together cluttering up the product selection.

Maybe if implementing the filter function by checkbox in the bottom left is too much work it could be done by adding an extra option under the supplier of the player that reads "company name (warehouses)" if that's easier to make?

This can already be done.
Set the middle list to your company and the right-hand-side list to all cities
