FYI: if you create a txt file inside the caplab folder with the title no_auto_patch you will be able to finish your current game, as the automatic patching will be disabled.avengerbg wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 5:34 pm Thats true, but we will have to start over again with 6.3 i can bet
Also, i dont think its so dificult, it can be just external tool to convert savegames, developers already have code for loading older from old versons, and for saving games from latest verson, its just matter of adding the new data with some default/safe values to the data loaded from loader, then save all together in new savegame. I have some proggraming expirience, and did things like that in the past. Shouldnt be much time consuming or hard, for at least external tool without much or any interface. Just load old save games it finds, then saves them as new ones in new foldre or something, so we can copy/use them. But thats only my opinion, i have no say on this matter![]()
Things aren´t getting worse; our information is getting better!

Re: CapLab Post-Release Beta V6.2.09 full version installer
I had a teacher that used to say: "Who wants to do something seeks for ways, who dont seeks for reasons".
If autopatcher is the problem, i can turn off theinternet, block it in the firewall, and much more.
Every patch fixes bugs, or improves, currently banking dlc that i also play, not updating denies me access to this, updating to version that do not support older savegames, and that happans every few minor versions, forces me to start over. I like to play slow, playing a game month couple of days, may be not at start, but once game progresses enough.
Besides not to say heavy word, but 99% of software is backward compatable with its data sources (savegames, databases and more).
Hell one other favorite game of mine have probably over 200 patches up to now, and i still can load version 1.0 savegame. Even microsoft office can load word files from dos versions, and they are not known for their backwards compatability

I've tested v6.2.10 installer and it worked properly.
Please check if the latest version is installed properly.
What is the version number displayed at the top-right of your Capitalism Lab main menu screen?

We will investigate the problem.
Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.
You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from the C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE
You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or emailing the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.
If your save game file is too large for attachment, you may check out this post about how to send us large files: https://www.enlight.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2473
