Is it just me, or is this new version more jittery? The game speed itself still runs pretty okay, but when I move my mouse around, there are delays, and it's like the game starts dropping frames.

Yes, there is a known issue with trying to click on items in the left side-bar menu that I have noticed:
viewtopic.php?t=9559

Basic solution in the short term is to just click a little bit slower. But I am not sure if this extends to other interface issues you might be having.

Could you please let us know the exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game?

Did the bug occur when you clicked the "Link" button on the screenshot you provided?

Please download the latest version v10.0.19 from viewtopic.php?t=9664 and see if you still encounter the bug.
