The company does not decrease your freight costs - rather it means that all of your Freight fees go to your Logistics Company. It works in a way similar to advertising and owning media firms. You can't reduce your advertising fees but you can convert them to media firm revenue and therefore make advertising effectively free.

At this stage it looks like you cannot control the prices of freight at the level of the company itself (you can adjust it on the difficulty settings) - the best way to raise revenue is to have as much capacity and training as possible to make your logistics attractive to other companies.

Is there a feature where you can outsource your logistics transport to other companies in the game, if not could it be added in the future?

This is already what happens if you don't have your own company - it will automatically pay another company to do your logistics. There will even be a little icon indicating which company is transporting your goods for you.
