We're delighted to announce the availability of the Capitalism Lab Version 11.0.47 Release Candidate! You can download it now at:

Important Note: Installing this Release Candidate will overwrite the existing Version 10.0 on your hard drive.

If no major bugs are reported within this week, this version will transition to the official release early next week.

In comparison to the post-release beta version 11.0.44, this version has the following improvements:

Two new challenge games:
1) Home Comforts Co.
2) Economic Revival

We have fixed a bug that requires changes to the savegame file format.
Because of this, older savegames from post-release beta versions are not compatible with this new version.

Fixed the issue with the save game folder.
Now save games are stored in C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE

Added new layouts for software firms to Layout Plan Library. Also improved the layouts for R&D centers.

Looks quite good, I just tried out the challenge game and got an error while doing so:

I tried starting a new challenge game, loading and saving challenge games but couldn't get this error.

Do you recall what you have done to trigger this error?

Looks like it was just me, I did a full clean out of the folder and reinstalled a fresh copy and that error does not appear anymore.

Will you guys include new scripts, like increasing the length of export contracts and higher manufacturing capacity?

Those already exist.

You can have exports for up to 100 years if you want and at 10,000% volume:

[SERVICE INDUSTRY DLC]
Export Deal Duration=100
Export Volume Modifier=10000

As well as:
Factory Capacity Modifier=<50 to 500>

Version 11.0.45 was updated earlier today which fixes this issue. Please download this updated version from

Please install it and see if it fixes the problem. If not, we will try to provide you with another solution.
