Number of Competitors does not work.

Are you using Digital Age DLC? If so, it will add Digital Age Companies on top of the selected number of competitors.

I tested a new game without Digital Age DLC and got the exactly the same number of competitors as I set.

If the problem persists, please send me your script or save game and I will look into it.

Lol, my post is gone. I gave a proper bug report, in the OP, like always. I tested for over 2 hours, gave 8 precises step to recreate. whatever. sorry, for what it's worth. wasting time is the last thing I like to do.

Version 11.0.72. no dlc. Fine for smaller numbers, but problem with numbers great than perhaps 16 or 18? doesn't matter, go big. Even with no script; a clean launch starting up scenario 2 Fashion Venture will give a variable number of companies.

Tried now. start scenario 2, check number companies, exited game. I got 21 21 20 21 18 companies.

And trying just a custom game with no scripts. New game, custom game, reset, slide competitors to 40. Only have 24 total companies.

I just tested scenario 2 five times and every time I got 21 companies. But it may not have 21 companies on day one. You can just let the game run and it will add companies up to 21 within one month.

Similarly, for custom games with a large number of competitors, you will always get the right number of competitors within one month after the game starts.

If the problem still persists on your side, please send me your save game file and I will look into it.
