Looking into market mechanics & analysis tools, curious to hear your thoughts

Hi all,
Just getting back into Capitalism Lab after a bit of a break. I’m finding myself more and more interested in how the market mechanics actually play out, especially when it comes to predicting shifts or nudging the competition in certain directions.
I’ve explored a few of the more advanced mods (some really impressive stuff out there), but I’m keen to dig deeper into how people read the internal dynamics, pricing trends, margins, that sort of thing. Has anyone here developed their own tools or simple tracking methods for this? Even basic spreadsheets or indicators you look out for?
On a related note, I’ve been looking at some real-world examples, particularly from sectors like sports betting, where there’s a tonne of user behaviour and market data in play. For instance, sites that compare betting platforms in Kenya (like this one : https://www.bettingtipsafrica.com/betting-sites/kenya/) give a sense of how competitive dynamics and user choices interact. I was curious if anyone’s ever tried applying that kind of thinking to how they play the game, or if it’s a bit of a stretch in this context.
Would love to hear how others approach this.
Cheers in advance.
