Mod version: Futureworld V1.1

Scenario description:
I bought all the mines available in the game and blocked my competitors from accessing these resources (kept them for internal use).

I observed that even with the link showing as blank, the competitors’ factories keep “producing” without access to the resource.


This behavior was identified in Fine Chemicals (mod) and also in processors (it also happens with other products).

My understanding is that it is allowed if they still have resources in their inventory. But in this case the player can't tell if they still have Water in their inventory so I don't know if that is the case.

I think if competitor trade secrets has been enabled then the player should be allowed to see their inventory amounts but currently that is not the case.

It can’t be, because I remove the product and add it back to the factory.

As shown in the previous image, the link is blank, so it shouldn’t be able to keep buying. Also, I’ve continued playing with the same save — almost 100 years have passed, and competitor is still using water from a well that no longer exists.

I think the internal storage facilities of the processing units still have water in their storage facilities. Only when this is used up will production cease.

I don’t think that’s the case, since when the same situation happens with my factory, it stops producing immediately — it doesn’t keep producing for over 100 years from a source that doesn’t exist. I’ll wait for the developer’s response.

I tried copying the patch, but it shows an error screen. I’m using Linux, and I believe it’s some kind of incompatibility with Proton.
I’ll wait for you to release the full installer to update the game.
