Is it possible to add additional Telecom buildings and mod the service those buildings provide?

i.e. If I wanted to add a building such as a Law Firm to provide legal services. The game mechanics of the telecom building likely would be good to use for this purpose.

Currently the telecom cannot be modded.

Perhaps you could explore using the service firm type for modding a law firm?

The service firm is not really suitable for any intangible services (accounting, legal, advisory etc). For instance it makes no sense for intangible services to have constant input of goods (IRL most costs of such services are fixed, primarily constituted by salaries). Paper, software, office it’s all kind of CAPEX type of expenditures.

Moreover it’s really frustrating to be able to sell such services B2C only (again doesn’t make much sense).

IMO, I believe you guys have already created a perfect template for such firms - the logistic companies. Mostly fixed expenditures, cumulatively building the quality and capacity of services being rendered. IT expenditures making the firm doing business more effective. One firm needed to cover the demand (no need for multiple firms to conquer the B2C market).

It’s just the pattern of demand that needs to be changed (something else instead of the volume of freight). For example the volume of sales in case of accounting / tax consulting. The value of assets / number of employees in case of legal and other advisory services. Make companies above certain threshold forced to buy such services (to simulate lesser demand for back office in case of smaller companies).

Just like with logistic companies you can make such service firms to satisfy internal demand for such services (for your company and subsidiaries).

Would be a nice addition to the game.
