Electronic Components units vs lbs

Hiya David,
I am investigating why i my 6 Giga factories (RealWorld mod production is 3x the vanilla large factory) are not enough to supply 12 Mega factories (also Realworld mod production is 2.5x vanilla large factory).
But i found a discrepancy in the use of units/amounts which is there also in the vanilla game, which might create an irregularly between Electronic components production and usage.
If you look at the Manufacturer's guide of every product that requires Electronic Components, i will take the Desktop Computer as example since that's a vanilla product. You will see it needs 1 unit CPU, 1 lb of Steel and 1 unit Electronic Component:

Now while the CPU is indeed produced in units and Steel in lbs, Electronic Components are produced in lbs instead of units:
Now as for the production it somehow works, but it makes it really hard to figure out how much/many i actually need. As in what is the conversion rate between lbs and units?
Both the sales department of the Electronics factory as well as the purchase department of the (desktop computer) factory also use lbs, but the Mft department and consequently the Sales department of the Desktop factory and the shops/stores use unit's not lbs. And clearly 1 lbs does not equal 1 unit
So would it be possible to get either the conversion rate or have the lbs change to units ?
