Selling custom scenarios and Stripe alternatives, has anyone been through this?

Hey everyone, something happened to me a couple of months ago that might be relevant to some people here.
I was selling a pack of custom scenarios for Capitalism Lab on my own website after posting about it on the forum. The post ended up getting quite a bit of attention, and within 48 hours I had around 30 sales, mostly from US and Asian customers paying within a fairly short period of time.
As a result, Stripe temporarily froze my account while they reviewed the activity. I couldn't access the funds for five days. Nothing fraudulent was going on, it was just an unusual spike in volume from their perspective, I guess.
The annoying part is that while the account is frozen, it can also complicate things like customer invoices and potential refunds until everything gets sorted out.
After that, I started looking into other options and came across a fairly detailed comparison on Whatpayment that lists several alternatives depending on what you're selling. I ended up moving part of my payments to another provider for the next release.
Just curious if anyone else here selling paid mods, scripts, scenarios, or similar stuff has run into the same kind of issue with Stripe. Would be interested to hear how you handled it.
