I'm not really sure if this idea will be useful or helpful, also don't know if it's already suggested. So let me explain it and i hope someone can add stuff to make it really work.

1. You build a factory and start making cars.
2. You can enter the car manufactoring unit and ADD NAME - to the final product, which can be Turbocar 2000 or Speedster AZ or whatever.
3. This can be done with every final product that's really expensive and use a lot of advertisment in order to be successful in the market - like silver watches or high end computers or HD TVs - you should be able to "name" these products - and creating a brand name.
4. Soon the product starts selling well and its brand loyalty reach a certain level.
5. The "brand name" become recognisable - and this way become an asset of yours.
6. If you open a new factory for cars - you have option to create "a new brand" or use the old one.
7. In a R&D center you can set goal for a new level for a specific brand - the new level can't be sold or used for any other brand of cars.
8. You can sell the brand name - which automaticaly will delete the Name you've written and you can write a new one.
9. You can buy a brand name to use - also automaticaly implemented.
10. If you ever close the factory and stop making cars - the brand name is still yours and it's an asset in your corporation. You can use it decades later. Even if you sell the factory, the name is still yours. Which of course means - if you buy a factory, you should buy the rights to the brand name also.

So help me with this one, pls.

Sounds like a very sound idea, both thumbs up. Realistic, adds individuality.

I only wonder if implementing it might be a hassle for the devs. In the end, it is very like the "Technology" parameter which is intangible, but you can acquire it.

I really like this idea! This would add a touch of personality to the current game.
