What about running a cruise line?
Some simple suggestions:
In order to operate the cruise line, you’ll have to buy an office building and cruise ships.
You should have the ability to set a budget for: Advertising, On-board Entertainment, Food & Beverage,
Maintenance, Training & Education, Commission to travel agents, Insurance, etc.
The more you spend on these things, the more tickets you sell.

Noted.
Adding sales commissions is a further level of detail than presently exists. If add for this feature, it should also be added to retails stores, heck, any sales unit actually -- even a humble steel factory is always trying to land the biggest clients / government contacts. But I would not be in favor of adding commissions; I tend towards simplicity.

Sales commission wouldn't work. Consider that products can be seen by quality and cost, not chosen by sales pitch. So the example of a steel mill would have the steel being selected for better quality or price, not for a better sales pitch. This level of complexity would need a redesign of goods selection.
But on the topic of cruise lines it would make an okay idea, but would still have problems like the current state of affairs with media.

Yes, you spoke my unstated thoughts.
