I think it would be a great addition to the game, if people were able to offer to buy empty land that you have sitting around. Or that you are able to make offers on empty land, that AI players own.

Sometimes AI's will buy some plots of land, in a spot that you wanted to build an apartment or retail store.

This way players would be able to invest in Large Oil Fiels, or gold-rich land. And if another AI needs that land, they could offer to buy it.

Just a suggestion

When you would offer to buy the land, it would be the same as buying stocks from a specific person. You would offer an amount over the current "Market" value.

As long as the premium the computer demands is substantial, just like for the stock market.

There has to be an easier way to sell land in bulk. Many times I invest in land during recession and then sell it off when economy bounces back for decent profit. But I have to click on each individual tile to sell and this is an irritating process when I have dozens of tile to sell. So there must be a selector tool which can allow me to sell the entire patch.

I would like to Bump the post on selling land.

Selling land in bulk 5x5 plot would be a great addition please. My clicker finger would thank you greatly.
