Having High Rises & Hotels would be a way to address the compliant about population growth. If a High Rise or 4/5 star hotel is built it increases the growth potential of the city by a certain % point. Hotels would introduce "tourist" which would be wonderful with the introduction of service businesses.

If you want to do some city simulation (it's a hot area due to SimCity 5 coming!) this would be the best way to do it while adhering to the "core" of game.

The introduction of taxes and taking community facilities off the balance sheet and making them corporate gifts to the community would be greatly welcomed.

This is a good idea.

Personally, I also like the idea of making an expansion pack focusing on real estate - like being able to customize apartment and commercial buildings, adding facilities like gym, and other recreational facilities, as well as letting users import custom-made apartment building graphics.

If we can gather more ideas here and refine them to become solid and feasible enough for implementation, I will pitch the ideas to the dev team.

Expansion packs and user generated content are words I like to hear!
