Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta V2.3.01 full version installer has been released.

To install it, download it from http://www.capitalismlab.com/account/do ... _beta.html (login required) and run the installer.

New Feature

New Content
A new challenge game title "From Toys to Electronics" which was created using the new script system, which utilizes the new multiple-goal system, consisting of a main goal and 3 subgoals.

You will also find the script used for creating this challenge game accessible from the Script menu. (On the main menu, select "Single Player Game", then "Custom Game" and click on the [Load Script] button to access it.)

Please note that this is a Post-release Beta version and it will install on a different program folder than the normal Release version.

Beta versions are unstable versions which are meant for user testing. You may still run your normal release version of the game, after installing the post-release version, as they are installed separate folders and have separate program EXEs and icons. So you encounter problems with this beta version, you may run your normal Capitalism Lab release version instead (the latest release version is 2.2.08.)

This is great, thank you so much. However, I need to report a problem. Only during the first, windowed launch of the game did the game work. Once I changed screen resolution options and switched to full screen, the game stopped working. There is only sound but no picture. Now everytime I try to launch the game I cannot see anything on the screen, just plain black. Reinstalling did not solve the problem, so now I do not really know what to do. Ah yes, and forcing resolution of the launch menu also did not solve the problem. Help me, please.

I have found the solution, that force resolution option on the starting screen needs to be checked and on the CapLab icon's properties an option run maximized needs to be chosen. It solved the problem for me (PC, Windows 7)

We just released an updated version 2.3.01 which fixes a few issues with the script system.

Is it possible to release a txt file or readable database file of the cities in Cap Labs database, (ofcourse with the pre-defined parameters) ?
It will make it easier for us to choose which cities we want to include in the script file and challenges.
