Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab Forum

Hey just a quick question about CAP2 and the placement of buildings on the map.

When I am placing a building on the map, I always get a paved border that surrounds the building which restricts me placing anything beside or around the buildings to get a form fitting block of buildings.

Any way to change this?
Does CAPLAB have this feature removed for better building placement? (couldn't find any info on this)

It's much improved in CapLab.

There's even one building that's smaller than 2x2, which is a commercial office rental at size 2x1.
