Commission sale, commodities trading and government tenders

I believe than in real world a production company does not always have to set up a complete distribution network of retail outlets in order to sell its product, especially for more generic products. I believe that it might be interesting to add commission sales (a sort of exporting to the rest of the world) system as a new option in warehouses, where one can sell large quantities of goods for pre-set, much lower prices than the ones in the retail stores. It can make a production company really focus of production. Just an idea.

Also, it would make grain, oil and gold production far more meaningful and profitable if we could sell them on the market, in which there are fluctuating world market prices of these goods. Perhaps we could even introduce full futures trading mechanism for commodities. It is not like gold is only used for gold ring production, right?

Finally there could be new random event added where occasionally government makes a tender offer for specified amount of a certain good at specified price, and if accepted it would clear up the specified amount of the stock in the warehouses for agreed sum on certain date.

With enough AIs in the game (usually more than 15), you will get some AIs choose to focus on retail (even real-state focused AI tend to do lots of retails). You could setup warehouses near their buildings and disable internal sells. With good enough rating (you can advertising them at the factory), and AIs have high enough starting capitals, they will buy from your wholesale goods.

If you have a lot of AIs and fewer cities, with little goods from seaport at low quality. Even AIs themselves try to be wholesalers (usually tech focused AI after 5 to 10 years, since they tend to have higher tech, and can produce good products to be just wholesalers)

But I think the problem is that you have to try a couple of time, and let the game running for couple of years, and let AIs themselves generate a stable ecosystem. And you need a bit of luck to research right tech, before AIs over take you. Perhaps a quicker generating or world simulation that can setup the environment quickly could be helpful. Right now, I just try a couple of times, and scroll the screen outside city view into darkness to speed up fast forward period.

Selling semi-product or raw materials to end customers have been brought up before, however not sure whether or not it will be implemented.

The government issues tasks might be interesting. Perhaps it could be some kind of government outlets that will buy at certain rating and act like build-in special "retail stores". This way they can be default downstream buyers from the start, without the need for AIs to setup businesses first.
