Commission sale, commodities trading and government tenders

I believe than in real world a production company does not always have to set up a complete distribution network of retail outlets in order to sell its product, especially for more generic products. I believe that it might be interesting to add commission sales (a sort of exporting to the rest of the world) system as a new option in warehouses, where one can sell large quantities of goods for pre-set, much lower prices than the ones in the retail stores. It can make a production company really focus of production. Just an idea.
Also, it would make grain, oil and gold production far more meaningful and profitable if we could sell them on the market, in which there are fluctuating world market prices of these goods. Perhaps we could even introduce full futures trading mechanism for commodities. It is not like gold is only used for gold ring production, right?
Finally there could be new random event added where occasionally government makes a tender offer for specified amount of a certain good at specified price, and if accepted it would clear up the specified amount of the stock in the warehouses for agreed sum on certain date.
