Game patching error

I manually updated CapLab to 2.5.08B version, but every time i'm launching a game it gets patched back to 2.5.07.
And it says i had 2.5.06 installed.
Also, sometimes i want to disable automatic updates of the game (for example when i have current saved games, that i want to finish), but i dont know how. Is there an option for it?
