Game Option Preferences

I have been experimenting with warehouses and am enjoying the feature since it reduces bottlenecks. I also tend to use autolink frequently. One problem I have found that I think additions to the game option preferences menu could solve would be options telling the game to select own firms first and to select warehouses over farms or factories. I find with the auto selection that I have to check the source of the link and change it any time a competitor has a "better" source or my farm is deemed "better" than the warehouse because it is cheaper. Having a choice to enable or disable would be great!

Such an option will apply the preference universally to all sourcing decisions. Do you foresee a situation where you want some of your firms to select the most competitive offering including those from AI companies, while having some of your firms source from your own warehouses?

Perhaps you can create a poll and see how other users think about this.
