cannot open the game since new version released

I installed 2.6.22 three days ago, it ran OK.
It doesn't work today, because it's trying to update to the newest version.

I downloaded 2.6.23 patch in forum post http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... f=7&t=2331
and overwrited all the zip files to the game folder,
but it still doesnt work.

Did you uninstall the old game and install the 2.6.22 full installer?
