Creating own subsidiaries

Hi,
I just bought Capitalism lab after a long time looking for a business sim. I've played all previous Cap versions at the time and was very positively surprised when I found out about Labs. Great work, thanks!

Just wanted to leave my two pennies for potential add-ons;

- Creating own subsidiaries: Bundle own firms into a subsidiary (e.g. if one is having a wide range of products in the company, the option to create a subsidiary from for example the Computer product segment could be created). In my view, this would enable more visual control and allowing a build-up of a corporate organisation structure between products, type of firms or geographical presence.

- Initially it would serve simply as a part of the sum but with its own P&L BS etc; (assigning subsidiary managers could also be an option perhaps). In a second stage it might also be possible to put the subsidiaries out for sale (instead of individual firms) to AI, or perhaps even float them on the stockmarket (if certain size is attained).

- Another issue that I think has been mentioned in the forum is the to be able to do a simple stock split. This is pure comsetics, but in my game I see AI companies with a vast number of shares, whereas my company has very limited no of shares but with a very high stock price.

Anyway, thanks again for a great product and looking forward to new implementations of the game.
Best rgds, JP

Actually the programming code for this feature has been written already. We are in the process of collecting user feedback about the criteria under which the players will be allowed to do a stock split.

Any feedback is welcome.

My suggestion - the player's stock should be priced higher than any competitor; minimally 100% higher than the highest of the competitors' stock.
