I notice that in the new beta 3.0.01,government media firms always become "private company", and they are no long on-sale, no matter they are profitable or not. This make any strategy involved media firm control invalid, and almost all media focused AI go bankrupt (since they no longer be able to take control existing profitable media) unless helped by human players.

I tested the game and there were media firms for sale. See the attached screenshots.

You may set Local Competitiveness to a lower setting and the chance of having Media Firms on sale will be higher.
