Unable to MOD Advanced Technologies with Subsidiary Beta

Hey David,

First off, damn you and all of Capitalism's developers. (For creating the greatest game I've ever had the pleasure of playing—which has unfortunately, killed my productivity and work output for the past 3 years)

I have been an active reader of the boards, but have not chimed in, until now, that is.... So let me again reiterate: Capitalism Lab > Sliced Bread.

I've read your tutorial and directions for using the Advanced Technologies for Modding, but I have not been able to have that function in game—for example, when using the Subsidiary DLC in conjunction with a personal Mod file, no requirements are listed for Smart Phone, and if game starts in year 2000, Smart Phone is researchable, and prerequisites are ignored. I have packed MOD with Product_Tech.txt and made sure to follow guidelines you listed in the tutorial, but have not successfully seen the prerequisites applied in game.

Does the Advanced MOD Technology feature not yet work when DLC and MOD are used, or am I missing something perhaps on my end?

Thanks again!

Ryan

Glad to hear that you have been enjoying the game.

I tested it in the game and it worked. The pre-requisite keeps me from being able to research in a R&D center. (see the screenshot attached).
