Are you sure the amount of polyester needed to create 1 unit of nylon is right? (50 lbs for 1 unit nylon)
Because when i tried to make nylon, the production cost exceed $30, but the price of nylon in seaport are only $3.99

I am curious - why did the new version add dyestuff to making plastic?

It has always required just oil in the past.

Ciao David as you can see in screenshot i posted there's no further slots free in buildings windows and new one appear half in top left and half in top right

Just a comment: With the addition of the dyestuff, the AI may not be very good in sourcing all the required ingredients for making plastics, as the supply chain has become more complicated. And this may possibly reduce the efficiency of the AI and the AI may thus produce fewer types of products.
