odd write off after I brought media firm

So I'm playing with the Real World Mod + Not That Complex Script I brought a radio station (randomly) for 180ish million dollars directly after I brought it my net profit sunk I went to the income statement and it shows a 296 million write off. I went to my company history and it doesn't show that I purchased a $180 million asset/media firm.
Is this a bug?
