I leave the CEO settings at default except limiting his production field and making him not expand in R&D, Media, and Real Estate. I gie him $200,000,000 and am playing on difficulty 6 out of 8. He does not build any firms for 5 years. Error of wrong Setting?

Do you have a save file, or screen shots that can show the settings of subsidiary?

I left the other settings default.

What's the scope of production? And why not just setup the production chain yourself, and transfer to the sub? It's much efficient. If you want subs to develop on its own, you should allow retail and R&D for it (at least give it techs, or allow acquiring tech), otherwise how would it get competitive and have income?

And you said 5 years doing nothing, you have a save file about that situation?
