Is it a avast problem? or just game file is missing?

I removed and reinstall game and just copy paste 4207
(Must i copy paste 4206,4205 befor copy past 4207??)
perhaps it is avast problem i guess
or installer was not fully downloaded

I fully redownloaded beta setup file and reinstalled,fully downloaded 4207b but.......it still make error

Try deleting the config.dat file. It is found in the folder: (user name)/documents/my games/capitalism lab post-release beta/

If you are using any scripts or mods, remove them and start a new game with basic settings. I had the same error earlier, and that's what worked for me.

I feel the best way to "remove" old capitalism lab beta, it to "rename" the Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta folders both in documents/my games/ and users/(names)/app data/local/. (uninstall will leave behind some settings and mods, and keep the problem persist)

Before we kick this issue to David. There are still some tricks we can try. Like if it's really related to anti-virus problem. Would temporarily disable it helps? Would you need to allow firewall for the main Cap program? Or maybe try running it with compatibility mode, as well as disable DPI setting at high resolution, etc.

And does the unpatched version 4.2.02 or any other version worked before the 4.2.07 patch?

I remember 4.2.01 and 4.2.0.2 was working
And maybe(not sure) 4.2.04 also working.
And when i try 4.2.07 yesterday avast quit(shut down) capitalism program and send me the message.
The message said this capitalism program will analyzed and analyzing maybe take 132 hour.
Then when i tried to run capitalism lab, avast quit capitalism automatically and i tried again avast quit..............
Today morning when i tried to run capitalism lab avast give me one message.
"this program is safe"
so i can run capitalism lab but when i tried to play new game.......it's error.........
