Closed Beta Patch version 4.2.08B is now available for download from:
http://12299.cdn.beyondhosting.net/caplab/CB4208B.zip

Then extract the ZIP file to your Early Access version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

Added a new option for CTO management – whether CTO can set training level or not.

Added the following new option on the “Competitors” page on the new game setting menu:

Donations to Rival Political Parties

If you set this to a value greater than none, then rival political parties will receive donations from the general public over time.
This setting is mainly for increasing the difficulty level of the game if you are looking for a greater challenge.

I got this error creating new custom game with 4.2.08

This bug has been fixed in the latest update v4.2.08B.

Received an error when I tried to start a new game on 4.2.08B.

donations to political party gives donations to your own party as well.

Lasted about 10 years on a survival mode, with highest difficulty. i noticed that my political funds went from around 20m to over 230m. i never donated anything to it. population never got above 50k.

the rival party had quite a bit, as well. this seems quite excessive for 50,000 people.

All these bugs and issues will be fixed in the new patch v4.2.09.
